Empowering Individuals for a Healthy, Sustainable World
Our Mission
Transform health and the environment by cutting toxic plastic and carbon emissions through mindful eating, less processed food, less overeating, less packaging and less climate impact.
“Food Systems must transform to feed a growing population and limit environmental damage.”
“While population growth is a key driver of the increasing demand for food, changes in the amount and types of food consumed also play a major role. Food systems need to incorporate more sustainable practices, while ensuring access to safe, sufficient, affordable and nutritious food and the enjoyment of a diversified, balanced, and healthy diet for all.”-
U.N. Dept of global affairs, Global population growth and sustainable development, February 2022.
We Are Committed To Protect And Enhance Our Environment
Eat Less For Earth Principles:
Human caused global plastic contamination and global warming is happening NOW.
Both plastic toxicity and climate change are serious problems and need to be addressed and ultimately reversed.
The food industry is a main component of both plastic waste production (Over 1/2) and world GHG production (Over 1/3)
Reducing food/bev consumption and over-eating is the most effective way to reduce the food industry’s global impact during the next few critical years.
As per the U.N. and World Health Org, the majority of people in first world countries eat too much and waste too much food.
Personally reducing food/beverage consumption and eating less ultra processed foods is one of the most important things that we can do right now to prevent plastic toxicity, global plastic contamination, and global warming from destroying the world as we know it.
• Reduce energy consumption by reducing overeating, reducing processed food consumption, reducing restaurant and takeout food consumption, and cooking more.
• Reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic materials – Eat less take out and ultra processed foods.
• Adopt sustainable production and consumption practices by eating less, cooking more, and growing our own food.
• Support natural and regenerative farming which reduces plastic use and increases carbon capture.
By addressing these issues collectively, humanity can work toward preserving the planet for our children
